Maine astronaut Jessica Meir shared stunning photos Thursday of Boston, captured from space.
The Caribou, Maine native — who made history last year when she took part in NASA’s first all-female spacewalk, conducting repairs on the International Space Station — also reflected on memories from her time in Boston.
“In 2013, I received the call that launched my career as a @NASA astronaut while working @MGHMedicine & @harvardmed,” she wrote on Twitter. “#Boston is also home to my oldest sister, who serves as an exemplary role model, and even peeled grapes for me to eat as a baby!”
